Alcohol Ink Card with Gold Foil

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a thank you card I made with Ranger Inks and spruced it up with some gold foil. No laminator needed — this technique was super easy.

Supplies used:

On yupo paper trimmed down to 4.25 x 5.5, drop all three alcohol inks on paper, overlapping each over. Drip some alcohol blending solution on top of the ink, and using a straw, blow the alcohol inks to mesh them together. When alcohol inks are semi dry, press gold foil on it, with the gold side up, burnishing it into the yupo with your hand. You don’t want the paper to be too wet, or the ink will spread around and become splotchy.

I die cut the “thanks” sentiment 3 times with 80lb cardstock for a stacked look. I then trimmed down a sentiment strip and stamped “so very much” with black ink. I adhered the sentiments with glue. I scored and trimmed down a card base made of 110lb cardstock, and the card was ready to be mailed.
